We finally got a bunch of snow.... and pretty snow! There was no wind, and large clumps of snow just slowly fell from the sky... making about 8 inches of fluffy white ground cover. So white and fresh looking! Wes was excited because when he and Adam got home from hockey practice they got to use the snowblower for just the second time! I was surprised the kids did not go out to play in it... other than Adam when he was snowblowing. Also, the national groundhog Punxsutawney Phil crawled out early this morning and did not see his shadow, signaling it will be an early spring! Even though we've barely even had winter here in Buffalo! But with the frequent subzero temps back in Minnesota an early spring is most welcome! Allison is practicing her words... she regularly uses the word "uh-oh" correctly... and has for a few weeks now! The kids are all helping her learn more words and she will say "ma-ma-ma-ma-ma" to which they say is "mommy" but I think she might be saying "num-num." Anna enjoyed taking care of Allison during the day and also spent some time doing Ashley's hair into a bun... just like real ballerinas have... and then Ashley watched (and danced along to) a video on ballet that we checked out from the library. She is really into ballet these days... out of nowhere! I had a hair appointment today while Wes watched the Sabres play hockey. After dinner we played a new game for our family called Psycha-Doodles. It was pretty fun! Then the kids went to bed, Wes went out with a friend and I looked through my pictures. It was a pretty relaxing and fun day.
