Today was busy! We worked hard during school to get all our current units completed so we would be at a good break point for next week. Next week is a review/advance week but we will also be allowing time for extended topics or projects. We will still be having school every day but the normal schedule will not take place, so it is a little bit of a break for the kids (and myself). In the afternoon we all worked hard to clean the house... not just tidy but clean! I knew there would not be much time this weekend, so we hit the chores for about 2 hours and got this place squeaky clean! Wes got home early, so the kids jumped at the opportunity to clean his truck... they want more money for their fund! Then, Ashley decided we needed decorations on the front porch... she said that all the other neighbors have decorated for Halloween and we needed to! So she and Anna each made a Goblin to hang by the flowers. Too cute! Allison has been falling asleep on her own during her naps, and doing quite well. The kids wanted me to take a picture of her sleeping so they could see how she "landed," and then they laughed and laughed at her position.
